You can modify the layout of the site map to show or hide hidden and dependent files. This is useful when you want to emphasize key topics or content and deemphasize less important material.
Before you can hide or display an HTML file, you must first mark it as hidden. When you hide a file marked as hidden, its links are also hidden. When you display a file marked as hidden, the icon and its links are visible in the site map view, but the names appear in italics.
